Bio

Hi! I’m Becca. I live in San Francisco. I moved here from Boston at the beginning of 2011. I wanted a new job and a new city. So I packed up some boxes, filled my car to the brim, and headed west. So far, so good. I still don’t understand the weather, but the people are friendly, the food is delicious, and walking up all these hills has been good for my derriere.

Here’s what you need to know

I graduated from college in 2008 and landed myself in a job that just didn’t light my fire, if you know what I mean. I desperately needed a creative outlet, so I started a fashion blog with a friend of mine. That blog ended up being the catalyst for a cross-country move, a wonderful new career in fashion, and a whole lot more happiness. Plus, it opened the door for me to make new friends, some of whom are now my nearest and dearest.

Working in fashion meant that I didn’t necessarily want to come home and work on a fashion blog. After all, blogs are a lot of work! So, after a short hiatus, this site was born as my new home on the internet where I talk mostly about myself, but also about design, fitness, cooking, style, and local happenings.

What else? I sing loudly and terribly in the car, and doing so makes me incredibly happy. I make a lot of terrible puns. But, I think they’re funny, so that’s all that matters, right? I’ll assume you said yes. I have unapologetically bad taste in TV and movies. There is no verb that adequately describes my love for coffee. My life goal is to be on Jeopardy (I think I have some studying to do!).
